Innovize Named Our New Bronze Sponsor

A huge thank you to Innovize for backing the club and our Regional Tennis Dome fundraising drive.

Innovize

Welcome, Innovize

We are delighted to announce that Innovize has come on board as our Bronze Sponsor. Some of you will know them better by their previous name, Zenith Adhesive Components — founded right here in Athlone back in 2012 by Pat O'Neill and Jonathan Whately, after the closure of a local manufacturing plant. Rather than let vital skills and jobs disappear from the community, they built a new precision manufacturing business from the ground up, supplying world-class adhesive die-cuts and specialist materials to customers across Ireland, the UK and Europe for over a decade.

In April 2025, the company joined forces with Innovize and Excel Scientific, backed by Vance Street Capital, bringing even greater capabilities to their Athlone base while focusing on high-tech medical device, diagnostics and electronics manufacturing across the EU, the USA and beyond. Their name has changed to Innovize Adhesive Components Ireland, Ltd., but their heart remains firmly in Athlone.

We're proud to have a business with such deep community roots — one that was founded to protect local jobs and has grown into a global manufacturing partner — standing behind the club and the Regional Tennis Dome. You can read more about the project on our fundraising page.

On behalf of everyone at Athlone Tennis Club — players, juniors, coaches and committee — thank you, Innovize, for believing in our club and our community.
