Club Development at ARSC

The income from the ten year bond scheme, which has been very successful, added to the Leader contribution of €150,000, will enable the club to move to the Regional Sports Centre. Club officers should be in a position to sign the fifty year lease with Westmeath County Council plus sign the contract to commence work on the site. Initially we will provide the club with three floodlit courts and a temporary clubhouse.

The 1.3 acre site, will ensure our club has a permanent home for the first time. The site will enable the club to build three further courts, hopefully under a dome which will greatly enhance the conditions for playing tennis.

Further information about the bond scheme and the proposed development can be obtained by emailing bondsathlonetennisclub@gmail.com

Senior Club Championships

The Sidero Technology Solutions sponsored senior club championships, are progressing very smoothly, the fine weather ensuring most events are now at the quarter or semi-final stage. The five cup and five plate finals are to be played either this Saturday or Sunday depending on the weather, the forecast is not very promising for the whole week. All members will have up to date information through our WhatsApp information system.
