Senior Autumn Singles Leagues

The ladies’ and men’s autumn leagues commenced last week. Evgeniya Yurchanko had double wins in Group 1 of the ladies league while Julie Costello also had her first win. Rose Costello tasted victory in Group 2. Yvonne Walsh leads Group 3, Melanie Whyte was a winner twice last week while Mary O’ Neill earned two points in this group also. Natasha Shine leads Group 5. David Manser was a winner last week in Group 1 but Des Windsor Mc Glynn is the early pace setter in the group. John Galvin earned four points in Group 2 overcoming two players. Jerome Schuwey and Dave Costello were winners last week in Group C. Matches are the best of three tiebreak sets, the third may be a champion’s tiebreak, first to 10 and winning by 2.  All matches to be completed by mid-November, with no walk overs allowed.

COVID 19 Level 3 Restrictions

 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday morning club doubles competitions are suspended under level 3 COVID restrictions. All junior and adult coaching sessions are also cancelled. Members are free to organise singles matches and doubles matches while maintaining all Government guidelines. Restricted use of the clubhouse is also in operation and members should use their own hand sanitiser or avail of the clubs, placed at the clubhouse door and at the entrance to courts 3 and 4.
