Senior Autumn Singles Leagues
The Tournaments committee have arranged the groups for the ladies’ and men’s autumn leagues. Matches are the best of three tiebreak sets, the third may be a champion’s tiebreak, first to 10 and winning by 2. All matches to be completed by mid-November, with no walk overs allowed.

Senior Club Championships
The last match in our senior club championships, the mixed doubles, was played last Tuesday resulting in victory forJulie Costello and Isaac Del Paz Palos over Evgeniya Yurchenko and Michael Doheny,
Men’s Autumn Doubles League
This league started last Monday with Jeremy Clarke and Sai Palada proving too good for the other combinations, both players collected four points each. Rob Kearney and Marek Rose were runners up and were awarded three points each. John Galvin and Fergus Groenendijk collected two points each while duos Dave Costello/Joe Dalby, Peter Agbanobi/Jesus Areso and George Bodor/Jan Groenendijk collected the minimum each. All male members are welcome to participate every Monday, draw for partners will be at 7.30 every week.
Club Competitions
The weather was kind for the ladies last Wednesday’s competitive action but Thursday’s and Sunday’s mixed doubles were cancelled due to wet and windy conditions. Julie and Rose Costello, Lola Fernandez Palos, Loretto Lee, Evgeniya Yurchenko, Jacinta Digby enjoyed a good night’s tennis. Please come along and participate in these social friendly competitions.
