Senior Club Championships

The senior club championships draws have been made and all the finals will be played 28th September. Players who lose their initial matches will compete in the plate competitions. The seeded players in the men’s singles are two of our youngest senior players, Harry O’ Rourke and Jeremy Clarke. Top class first round matches will be Rob Kearney v David Manser, Des Windsor Mc Glynn v George Bodor, Jeremy Clarke v John Galvin and Tim Clarke v Jamie Waldron. Ladies singles cup holder is Lisa Brennan and she is favourite to retain her title. Laura Hunt is also seeded. Interesting seeds in the men’s doubles competition are Tim Clarke/Jimmy Raleigh and Jeremy Clarke/Dave Costello. The ladies doubles competition pairings are very evenly matched but slight favourites are Lisa Brennan/Mary Jo O’ Farrell and Joan Conway/Evgenyia Yurchenko.

US Open
