Men’s Doubles Spring League

John Galvin teamed up with Sai Palada to win last week’s doubles series of matches. Joint second were duos Marek Rose/George Thomas and Rob Kearney/Cathal Kenny, all four achieving three points each. John Cooney and Andres Leal gained two points each for third position while Nigel Coyle and Pat Conway added one point to their collections.

Ladies’ Doubles Spring League

Rosemary Thorpe and Carmel Hayes were just some of the ladies competing in the doubles spring league last Wednesday. A message quoted on facebook read “Brilliant night tonight ladies. Some very enjoyable matches. The craic was ninety.” Draw for partners is at 7.30 and play continues until 9.30 every Wednesday.

Senior Spring Leagues

The fine weather will surely see a lot of players playing matches and getting points to their credit. All matches must be completed by Thursday 28th March.

Mixed Doubles Competitions

Deborah Mc Keown and Marek Rose played consistent tennis last Thursday. Stephane Kenny and John Cooney were also in the groove as they were among the players participating in our mixed doubles competitions. New potential members are always welcome to take part any Thursday, play commences at 7.30.
