Senior Spring Leagues
The tournaments committee has arranged the following groups for our ladies’ and men’s singles spring leagues. Their decisions were based on the respective positions of all competitors on the ladies’ and men’s pyramids. All matches must be completed by Thursday 28th March.
Ladies’ Groups
Group A: Lisa Brennan, Roisin Casey, Paula Dowling, Laura Hunt, Laura O’ Cluaid
Group B: Joan Conway, Julie Costello, Rose Costello, Michele Culligan, Anna Walsh
Group C: Carmel Hayes, Sine Mcfarlane, Mary O’ Neill, Sarah Seoige
Men’s Groups
Group A: Peter Agbanobi, Jeremy Clarke, David Manser, Harry O’ Rourke, Martin O’ Rourke, Des Windsor Mc Glynn
Group B: George Bodor, Tim Clarke, Richard Frank, Rob Kearney, Kieran Mc Carthy, Sean Raftery
Group C: John Bray, Dave Costello, John Galvin, Cathal Kenny, Marek Rose
Group D: Pat Conway, John Cooney, Jimmy Raleigh, Michael Rodgers, David Walsh

Men’s Doubles Winter League
John Galvin and Jimmy Raleigh were the winners of the last series of matches, in our winter doubles league, played last Monday night. Maximum points for the win gave John overall victory for this league. Des Windsor Mc Glynn and Dave Costello were runners up and both were second and third placed overall in the league. This league was a great success, with matches every Monday night during November, December and January, we had a two week break at Christmas. All competitors will be hoping the fine weather continues every Monday for our spring doubles league which commences this week.

Ladies’ Doubles Spring League
The ladies doubles spring league commenced last Wednesday. Ladies captain, Laura Hunt not only did the organising but teamed up with Carmel Hayes to win the first series of matches. Michele Culligan and Rose Costello were runners up. Play continues every Wednesday with draw for partners at 7.30, play continues until 9.30.
Mixed Doubles Competitions
In the mixed doubles competition last Thursday Laura Hunt and Rose Costello were to the fore once again, two night in a row for both ladies! George Thomas and Sai Palada, two of the latest members to join out club, were very competitive both competing Monday and Thursday nights also.
