Michele Culligan and Melanie Samuels combined to win the ladies doubles while in the men’s doubles Richard Frank and Des Windsor Mc Glynn lost 6-9. Athlone won the two mixed doubles events earning enough points to be in the quarter finals.

Athlone 2 were scheduled to play a home match against Tullamore last week but it was cancelled. Paula Dowling, Anne Dooley, Tomas Koza and Luciano Molinari will complete their series of matches this week and are hoping to be quarter finalists in September.
