Junior Coaching
The 2016 junior season is starting with new coaching term starting on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Coaching is available for junior members, aged 6-16 and lessons start on the hour from 4pm. If you wish to book your child contact Tennis Ireland coach and club junior organizer Derek on 0851080013
During the coming term we will also be running fun practice tournaments on the last week of every month for the juniors and there will be a blitz against players from Mullingar, Tullamore and Moate shortly with the date be confirmed.
Winter Leagues
The ladies and men’s winter leagues will conclude this week and all matches have to be completed by Thursday 18th paving the way for presentation of prizes later.
Spring Leagues
The spring leagues will commence in early march after the pyramids have been rearranged depending on the results of the winter leagues.
American Tournament
Our next American tournament will be on Sunday March 6th starting at 11am.
Social Tennis
Social tennis continues every Monday for men, the ladies compete every Tuesday while mixed doubles matches are played every Thursday.
Recent very competitive players on these nights were Alex Ocenas and Thomas Manik, Aileen Cunnie and Avril Mannion and the mixed doubles duo Paula Dowling/Jeremy Clarke.
