Membership
Membership fees for the new tennis year are due from 1st May. Membership Forms and Programme of Events for the year are available in the clubhouse. Fobs will be disabled from 31st May in cases where membership has not been renewed. New members are warmly welcomed!
Summer Leagues
The ladies and men’s summer leagues have now been organised by the Tournaments Committee. These will be played over the summer months with promotion and relegation in each group.

Annual Mixed Doubles
The annual mixed doubles starts on Monday 18th May. Monday night’s duos are Anne Dooley/Thomas Furey, Orlaith Kinahan/John Cooney, Stephane Kenny/George Bodor, Rose Costello/Tomas Koza.
Competing on Tuesday will be the following, Deborah Mc Keown/P J O’ Reilly, Mary O’ Neill/Dave Costello, Sine Mc Farlane/Luciano Molinari, Jacinta Digby/Cathal Kenny.
The top two from each will compete in the final on Thursady.
Michael Creighton Cup
Unfortunately both our teams suffered defeats to Mullingar teams in the semi-finals of this competition last week.
Social Tennis
Social tennis will continue as usual this week with the men playing on Monday, the ladies on Tuesday and mixed doubles competition on Thursday.
Coaching
Clem Higginbotham continues coaching lessons for junior members every Saturday. The lessons begin at 10 for children under 8, at 11 for under 12 and at 12 o’ clock for over 12 years of age. His contact number is 0864022490.
Coaching for junior members continues every Tuesday and Friday. Every Tuesday at 5 o’ clock coaching is for children ages 10-12 and at 6 o’ clock for children ages 13 to 15. Friday coaching also starta at 5 o’ clock for children ages 5 to 9 and at 6 o’ clock for children 10 to 13. Derek Stenson is the coach and further details can be obtained at 0851080013.
He is also organising lessons for adults Wednesdays or Fridays for interested individuals.
