Senior Club Championships
The highlight of our year tennis was the finals of our senior club championships last Saturday. All present enjoyed the exceptional tennis displayed by all the finalists, the savoury treats were also greatly appreciated by players and supporters. Harry O’ Rourke and Lisa Brennan were crowned champions for 2019. Mary Jo O’ Farrell/Lisa Brennan, Jeremy Clarke/Dave Costello were ladies’ and men’s doubles champions while Mary Jo and Jeremy lifted the mixed doubles cups also. Plate finals were also played concluding a very successful tournament that was exceptionally well organised by Harry and Martin O’ Rourke.

These will continue next Sunday from 2pm with the finals scheduled for Sunday 6th October, all spectator support will be greatly appreciated. These finals will be played.

Midland league Semi-Final
Des Windsor Mc Glynn, Richard Frank, Melanie Whyte and Michele Culligan travel to Killaloe to play in a division 3 semi-final this Wednesday.
Senior Autumn Leagues
Booking forms are now in the clubhouse for the ladies’ and men’s singles autumn leagues. Members interested in competing should register now before 7th October.
Men’s Monday Doubles
Michael Blehaney and Dave Costello were the winner in last Monday’s competition. The men’s doubles autumn league will continues this week with Des Windsor Mc Glynn leading this league on 18 points. Sai Palada is second with Jimmy Raleigh in third place.
Mixed Doubles Thursday Night
The Rose Costello/Marek Rose and Evgenyia Yurchenko/John Galvin were the winning duos in the mixed doubles competition last Thursday.
Sunday Morning Mixed Doubles
This competitive competition continues every Sunday starting at eleven and continuing to one pm. Rose and Julie Costello partnered Pat Conway and Marek Rose last week.
Junior Coaching
Clem continues coaching sessions every Saturday starting at 10am for children 4 to 8 years old. At 11 he coaches children ages 9 to 12 and from 12 he coaches older children. Please contact Clem at 0864022490 for further details.
