Senior Club Championships
Harry O’ Rourke is a men’s finalist next Saturday while his opponent will be either Jeremy or Tim Clarke. Laura Hunt will contest the ladies’ final and she will face Lisa Brennan or Michele Culligan next Saturday. The mixed doubles and ladies’ doubles events have reached the semi-final stages while Tim Clarke and Jimmy Raleigh wait the outcome of the other men’s doubles semi-final. All the cup and plate finals will be played next Saturday.
Junior Club Championships
These will continue next Sunday from 2pm with the finals scheduled for Sunday 6th October.
Men’s Monday Doubles
John Galvin and Shadi Kalash were competitive and took the honours in last Monday’s doubles competition. The men’s doubles autumn league will continue next Monday with points being awarded to all competitors depending on results.
Mixed Doubles Thursday Night
Sine Mcfarlane, Rose Costello, Evgenyia Yurchenko, Sai Palada, Jeremy Clarke and Dave Costello were the leading contenders for honours in the mixed doubles competition last Thursday.
Sunday Morning Mixed Doubles
This competitive competition will continue next Sunday starting at eleven and continuing to one pm.
Junior Coaching
Clem continues coaching sessions every Saturday starting at 10am for children 4 to 8 years old. At 11 he coaches children ages 9 to 12 and from 12 he coaches older children. Please contact Clem at 0864022490 for further details.
