Summer Camp

 Wimbledon winners will be in the history books next Sunday but children ages 4 to 12 have the ideal opportunity to engage in learning and practising their tennis skills in our summer camp. Monday 15th to Friday July 19th from 10am to 1pm are the dates, contact Clem for details and to book a place at 0864022490. Lisa is organising a summer camp for teenagers July 21st to 25th from 10am to 1pm, to book a place contact Lisa at 0862215843.

Annual Open Competitions

 Our annual open competitions commenced Sunday 7th July and some of the early winners were Lucia Larrosa, Damien Palfreman, Sean Raftery, Martin O’ Rourke, Peter Agbanobi, Conor Jones, Maurice Flynn and men’s doubles duo Jimmy Raleigh/Kieran Mc Carthy. Play continues all week with all finals next Sunday.

Midland League

 The midland league, consisting of six divisions, will commence in late July. Members wishing to compete in the league should register with men’s captain Des Windsor Mc Glynn.

Men’s Monday Doubles Summer League

 Marek Rose, Pat Conway and George Bodor were the top point winners in last Monday’s competition. Jamie Waldron and Dave Costello collected second placed points. Rob Kearney and Sai Palada earned third placed points while also adding to their collections were John Galvin and Jimmy Raleigh, Harry O’ Rourke, Eugene Dooley and Vincent Hall.

Ladies Wednesday Competition

 Ann O’ Sullivan, Joan Conway, Lucia Larrosa, Jacinta Digby, Rose Costello, Mary O’ Neill, Mary Jo O’ Farrell and Sine Mcfarlane were the participants in friendly competitive matches last Wednesday.

Thursday’s Mixed Doubles

Lucia Larrosa, Jamie Waldron, Deborah Mc Keown, Vincent Hall,  Rose Costello and John Cooney were just some of the sixteen competitors in last Thursday’s mixed doubles exciting competition.

Junior Coaching

 Clem continues coaching sessions every Saturday starting at 10am for children 4 to 8 years old. At 11 he coaches children ages 9 to 12 and from 12 he coaches older children. Please contact Clem at 0864022490 for further details.
