Registration Sunday
Sunday 12th May is club registration day starting at 11am for adults followed with a mixed doubles competition. Children ages 10 to 16 can register from 2pm followed with friendly competitions until 3.30. Then the younger children can register and afterwards enjoy friendly competition until 5pm. Members may renew their membership and anyone interested in joining a very active club can register any Monday, Wednesday or Thursday or from 7.30 to 9.30. All members are reminded that all fobs of existing members who have not renewed their membership by Wednesday 15th May will have their fobs deactivated.
Senior Summer Singles Leagues
The summer singles leagues groups have been arranged by the tournaments committee, positions on the pyramids were their guiding principles. George Bodor is the early pace setter in Group B of the men’s league. All matches to be played by 13th June.

Ladies’ and Men’s Doubles Competitions
Our ladies’ and men’s doubles competitions begin Monday 20th for men and Wednesday 22nd for ladies. The top four qualifying teams from the Monday and Wednesday will compete in the finals on Thursday night. Please register on the form in the clubhouse if interested in competing.
Men’s Doubles Spring League
The overall winner of our doubles spring league was Rob Kearney, he can claim the bragging rights after three months of weekly competitive competition. Marek Rose was runner up with Sai Palada third placed. Kieran Mc Carthy and Dave Costello were the winning duo last Monday while Rob and Pat Conway were second. Des Windsor Mc Glynn and Jamie Waldron were third with Harry O’ Rourke/Marek Rose, Jeremy Clarke/Sai Palada, and Peter Agbanobi/Vincent adding points to their totals. Our summer doubles league commences this week.
Ladies’ Doubles Spring League
The ladies doubles spring league concluded last Wednesday, Michele Culligan was overall winner. Laura Hunt was runner up, in joint third place were Carme Hayes, Roisin Casey, and Sine Macfarlane. Last Wednesday’s winners were Anne Dooley and Rose Costello followed by second placed duo Ann O’ Sullivan and Oonagh Collins. Julie Costello, Mary O’ Neill and Roisin Casey also collected points. Their summer doubles league starts this Wednesday.
Mixed Doubles Competitions
Anne and Eugene Dooley made a welcome return to the tennis courts this week and were impressive as ever displaying their usual ray of skills. Anne partnered Marek Rose to capture the honours while Eugene and Ellie Yusupova were well placed. New potential members are always welcome to take part any Thursday, play commences at 7.30.
Summer Camps
Our summer camps will be July 15th to July 19th from 10am to 1pm and our second will be from July 29th to 3rd August, contact Clem for details, 0864022490.
Coaching
Clem is commencing coaching sessions from May 11th starting at 10am for children 4 to 8 years old. At 11 he coaches children ages 9 to 12 and from 12 he coaches older children. Please contact Clem at 0864022490 for further details.
Lisa and Clem organise friendly competitions for members every Sunday starting at 2pm for children ages 10 to 15 and from 3.30 to 5pm for younger children. Contact Lisa at 0862215843 for more details.
