The only two clubs in the other twenty five counties to receive the maximum grant were Sean O’ Mahoney’s GAA Club in County Louth and Waterford Tennis Club.
This was another very successful night out and get together social occasion for some of our members. Among the usual very seasoned campaigners were newcomers Laura Hunt and Roisin Casey. Their reports are eagerly awaited.
Men compete every Monday, recent winners were the John Galvin/Oisin Stronge combination. Ladies play every Tuesday, the most recent winners were Rose Costello and Roisin Casey. Mixed doubles competitions are held every Thursday. Deborah Mc Keown and Marek Rose were the latest winning duo. These nights are opportunities for new potential members to come along and play a few games.
Season’s greetings to all our members, have a wonderful Christmas holiday but a gentle reminder it’s only in a tennis game you get service twice.
