Christmas Hampers Competition

Our Final competition of 2017 will be played this Thursday starting at 7.30pm. Players wishing to compete for various prizes are encouraged to done some seasonal ware for this special occasion. Draw for partners will made on the night so to avoid disappointment please be on time. 

Sports Capital Programme

The applications for grants to the Sports Capital Programme was February 24th last and the total amount of grant money available was €30,000,000. Recently the grant allocations were announced and the total amount granted to the many different sports clubs was increased to €55,831,000. Twenty nine Dublin based clubs received the maximum grant available which was capped at €150,000. Among the lucky ones were Glasnevin, Mount Pleasant and Templeogue tennis clubs. The only two clubs in the other twenty five counties to receive the maximum grant were Sean O’ Mahoney’s GAA Club in County Louth and Waterford Tennis Club.

Christmas Party

This was another very successful night out and get together social occasion for some of our members. Among the usual very seasoned campaigners were newcomers Laura Hunt and Roisin Casey. Their reports are eagerly awaited.

Club Nights

Men compete every Monday, recent winners were the John Galvin/Oisin Stronge combination.  Ladies play every Tuesday, the most recent winners were Rose Costello and Roisin Casey.  Mixed doubles competitions are held every Thursday. Deborah Mc Keown and Marek Rose were the latest winning duo. These nights are opportunities for new potential members to come along and play a few games.

Seasons Greetings

Season’s greetings to all our members, have a wonderful Christmas holiday but a gentle reminder it’s only in a tennis game you get service twice.
