ATP Final at O2

Grigor Dimitrov won his maiden ATP final last Sunday by defeating David Goffin in a three set exciting final. A number of Athlone tennis players were in the O2 to witness the top eight players compete in a round robin series of matches. Some witnessed the unexpected defeat of Roger Federer by David in the first semi-final and naturally this was their main topic of conversation afterwards.

Club Nights

Men compete every Monday, the ladies play every Tuesday while mixed doubles competitions are held every Thursday. These nights are opportunities for new potential members to come along and play a few games.
