Bye-Laws

The last major act of the outgoing executive committee has been to collect and collate the existing bye-laws and recommendations and put them together in a comprehensive list of sixteen. These bye-laws deal with the pyramids, team selection and the smooth running of club events. Two of the more interesting ones are number 6 which states “At the conclusion of the ladies and men’s singles club championships the winners shall be entitled to the top spot of their respective pyramids,” and number 7 “All inter club competition teams will be based on the ladies and men’s pyramids.” The list will be displayed in the clubhouse and all members are requested to acquaint themselves with the bye-laws.

Autumn Leagues

The leagues are going well with a number of matches completed last week. In the ladies league Paula Dowling and Julie Costello had doubles wins. Anna Walsh, Gertie O' Rourke and Mary Jo O’ Farrell tasted victory also.

The men winners were Pawel Michalski, Harry O’ Rourke, Sean Raftery, Luciano Molinari, Evan Conway, Kieran Mc Carthy and Michael Rodgers.
