Athlone Tennis Club consists of 3 floodlit all weather surface tennis courts with the latest 'state of the art' artificial clay surfaces.
The club moved to its new centre on December 15th 2023 with the official opening in January 2024. A brand new 'modular' A-rated clubhouse completes this phase of the exciting development for the club and the town. The next phase is for a further three courts under a Dome giving six courts in all, three indoor and three outdoor.
We have 3 all-weather artificial clay courts providing ample opportunities for our members to play from 7 until 10 pm.
Your club have organised club night as shown below:
Monday Evening: Men’s night 7 pm – 9 pm
Wednesday Evening: Ladies night 7 pm – 9 pm
Thursday Evening: Mixed night 7 pm – 9 pm
Sunday Evening: Beginners Night 6 pm – 7 pm (Contact Olly on 0862386773)
Sunday Evening: High Intermediate/Advanced night 7 pm – 9 pm

Coaching
Junior Saturday coaching from 10 am - 1 pm. Ages 5 to 17. Adult and junior private classes also available on request. Contact Clem on 0864022490.
Junior coaching mid week and weekend ages 6 - 17. These are closed classes with a maximum of 8 per group, each term will run for 6 weeks. Tennis assessment to be done before starting to enhance improvement and enjoyment of learning the game of tennis by ensuring that all juniors are placed in the correct group standard wise.
